If you're in Secane, Pennsylvania, and have a craving for pizza, look no further than Imperial Pizza. Located at 3528, 615 South Ave, Secane, PA 19018, this pizza joint has cemented itself as a local favorite for its delicious and affordable offerings. With a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, it feels like stepping into a classic pizza era—one where the pizza speaks for itself, and the prices are as comforting as the food.
At Imperial Pizza, the crust is a standout feature. Locals rave about the unique "sandy pizza" style, achieved by baking with cornmeal on the bottom. This results in a thin, crisp crust that perfectly balances the toppings, whether you prefer classic cheese or piles of pepperoni and sausage. The average turnaround time from ordering to enjoying your pizza is around a mere 10 minutes, allowing you to relish that sense of joyful anticipation.
Shane Bent, another satisfied customer, encapsulated the spirit of Imperial when he noted, "Pizza was pretty damn good, and the price was amazing." This is a sentiment echoed by many, with Harris Fogel highlighting that a large cheese pizza will set you back just $6.95—a deal that seems almost unreal. Families love the straightforward menu and the ability to customize orders, whether you lean towards extra cheese or prefer the classic offerings.
The restaurant is quaint and cash-only, so be sure to come prepared. A visit to Imperial is not just about the pizza; it’s about experiencing a slice of Delco culture. Customers like Vincent Prestileo appreciate the straightforward vibe, where the focus is solely on good food, not gimmicks. This brings an authentic charm that few modern establishments can replicate.
Whether you’re a longtime patron or venturing in for the first time, there's a sense of belonging that greets you at Imperial Pizza. Shehryar Siddiqui has declared Phantom Pizza synonymous with Delco, encapsulating the loyal following this pizza place has fostered over the years. So gather your friends, bring some cash, and find out for yourself why Imperial Pizza is a beloved staple in the community. It’s where great taste meets incredible value, and where every bite reminds you of the simple joys in life.
Toasted roll with sauce and cheese
Pizza was pretty damn good, and the price was amazing. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up.
We love Imperial Pizza. It's been there forever, the guys are great, like a family. Pizza's are ridiculously affordable, 6.95 for a large cheese! They bake with cornmeal on the bottom for what Local Delco natives call a "sandy pizza", crust is thin, the average turnaround time from order to pizza is around 10 minutes. I like extra cheese, but the rest of my family swears by the normal cheese, and pepperoni pizza as well. It's old enough that once you walk in it's like it's own little universe.
It's a throwback, which I love...keep it simple...not investing in unnecessary aspects. The pizza is good and the price is amazing! No crazy computers, cash only, The older gentlemen are blunt and not so friendly on phone (no thank you for calling, have a good day, enjoy, any of that) or in store, but the younger guys are better. I don't go for the camaradarie, so it's totally fine! A Delco Best...for taste and price!
Pizza is great. I recommend sausage and pepperoni as toppings. It’s cash only so bring your cash! 9.95 for plain and 12.95 for a topping! Best price you’ll find and it’s actually very good pizza. I love the dough, the sausage and the cheese. Highly recommend getting this pizza.
I've been eating here for years. They know me as "Sean." Will never try another pizza place as they've mostly disappointed, Imperial Pizza is synonymous with DELCO.
Absolutely delicious perfectly cooked fresh ingredients great tasting pizza Love love love your pizza! We drive an hour for this pizza worth every minute
Imperial Pizza stands out amongst Delco Pizza shops, while many have come and gone, Imperial has stood the test of time. It's a unique Pizza similar to boardwalk style that will leave you covered in the beach ( cornmeal); it's light, and crispy, the sauce is slightly sweet with some tang to it and you could easily eat a whole pie yourself; it's not greasy, and it's open until 2am on the weekends and 1am during the week and large pies will set you back 10 big ones! (9.95). Imperial is like an old friend that you can rely on for good eats late at night I mean, where else are you getting Pizza, Cheese, Steaks, etc, at 2am outside of Philly? Now only if we can get Franks's soda back! In a world full of convenience store Pizza, try Imperial instead.
This pizza is peak, always has been. I've been going to imperial for over a decade and it's the best pizza in the world
